Lost & Found
Trust me! Friendship is so amazing at times!!!!
Sometime ago, i met up with a girl-frd(J) for dinner . J & I have lost contact for almost 3 years and somehow (not intentionally) i always manage to 'dig' her updates through a common guy friend(GQ) [ surprisingly, she got my updates through the same source too, hehe] .
3 years back, i was still a young working adult , coupled with a role as a part-time student.I hardly have any time for myself , let alone a proper chit-chat with my friends. During that time, J & I started to drift apart and as time come to pass and before i realised it, we have not contact each others for years.
Last year Dec, i have this strong calling to contact her and GQ again and we finally met up (except GQ).
Having doubts across my mind, i started to have wandering thoughts as who will strike the conversation, whether she will walked past me without knowing i was there or should i called her instead of waiting for her to pat my shoulders??
Anyway, things didnt turn out that bad. We saw each other and a smile break the ice. She still the same, well....i mean she still as crappy as she used to be.
Nothing beats catching up with gf over a meal and we chatted for nearly 3 hours what we have been up to for the past few years, we talked abt our jobs, the jerks we met, faith in God, our family and of course , our buddy gq!!!.....
While on my way home, recollection of memories of the times we spend together( ie: holiday-ing in Malaysia, shopping....etc etc) just came naturally into my mind and i have to admit she used to be 1 of my BGF ( in case you do not know what it meant 'BGF'- best girl friend) since then.
I am happy for her. She is now blissfully attached and i glad i have made the decision to contact her again. Yes, i have found a friendship which i have lose it 3 years ago =)
