Just a thought.......
Last night ,was talking to A abt the coming X'mas party. I was sharing abt what my cell is doing and how we going to tell our frds abt Jesus. In the midst of our conversation, she was telling me abt this frds-frds thingy which i was rather amused.
This guy was suggesting to her abt inviting the Okios to someone's house claiming to watch a video together ( **for non-trinitaians- it is a video by our church which we supposed to show during our X'mas event .) My question to her is the same as she posted to the guy.
'Why would anyone interested to watch a video with you if they can watch it at their own discreet, anyway, who cares what video is that! ' Guess what the guy replied her, and i find it a rather 'high- EQ' answer- 'Coz friends-friends mah'.
Next, the guy suggested to have some games too. But i personally find that its quite tough to 'attract' your friends with some stupid games and a video . No gimmick, Nothing gain. And the guy replied her with the same answer-'Coz friends-friends mah.'
Friend-Friend is the 'IN' thingy now, issit? Grrrrrhhhh....Lame.

Lord, i thank you for the work you have given to me to bring glory in your kingdom. I thank you for the opportunities in order for me to do that. Let my heart filled with your love that will overflow from me to your beloved children . Thank you.
SUPERRRRRR late today..
im late today..infact its super late. I reached office at around 9.05am. Of all places and timing...the accident 偏偏 happened along the ONLY ROAD leading to nus and exactly the timing i passed by there.
But i forgive myself coz i realised its not exactly my fault.
The 5 lame excuses for being late.
1) As usual, the train is always late.
2) Thereafter, the bus is late.
3) The recent relocation of Clementi bus-interchange, meaning more 'obstacles' to chase the bus.
4) The 10pm HK serials made me stay up pass my usual bedtime. Blame who? Mediacorp?
5) 8.30am is too early to start work meh. Own time ,own target would be nice.
My collg was late too. He smsed me this morning asking me if i am late.
Him: you are late also huh? do you know what happened outside NUS?
Me: think got accident...cant really see. So we are late becos of accident,not our fault lah.
Him: Yup, we shd sue the bus driver.
Me: Shd go and copy down the plate number and buy 4D.
Him: Now you can go lah, the cars are still there.
Me: cannot ,late already, still go out and see. K & S sure scold me.
Him: You tell them u goin toilet.
Me: ohh...u always do that uh....i tell your boss.
My collg always tell me this- 迟到好过沒到. i am excused..:)

Heart-warming moments on the train.
There is this grandfather and grandson who always took the same train as me every morning.
Not because of their loud voice,but something in them attracted me. In them, i can sense the unconditionally love and bonding. This put me in serious thought. There are so many people on earth who do things with a motive, whether its for good cause or not. Sometimes , we just have to let our hair down and appreciate the small things in life.
Get really excited about the Little things :)

A few days ago, i received a call from my student who had recently completed her final round of examz. well...i can say it isnt much of my expectation that she can improved tremenously, esp her Maths which is her weakest subject. As far as i am concerned, i am pretty satisfied with her results (not sure abt her parents though) .At least i know that my 1 year of hard work and prayer has been worthwhile . I have put in lot of hard work ,trying ways and means to help her improve her maths. Sometimes you just need little things to boast up your confidence .Finally i can prove to myself that i have the capacity to do something right for the first and last time.
This month will be an exciting time. I dont know why, but for some reason something small, something normally inconseqential, absolutely makes my day. Here are some small things that get me really excited.
1) Today i'll be meeting inicious for steamboat...hehehe..Yummy,yummy. I know she looks forward to meeting Me or rather the food?????
2) Tomorrow, meeting eileen and iryn for cycling session. Time to fellowship.
3) Next week will be meeting valencia & sally for dinner. (**and my belated bd gift as well)
4) 17Nov is the East district Thanksgiving Dinner. This year will be somewhat different cos the ppl attending has changed.Some have left the cell and of coz some new faces too.
New friends, new experience will evoke new excitment in Life. Revel in them and keep looking for more.
